Andy Woods-Dean, Renault Megane Coupe driver in Quaife Motorsport News Saloons, class E, age 46.

BARC SEC: Ok green flags – lets go: how did your adventure with motorsport get started?
Andy Woods-Dean: Both my Mum and Dad raced on small ovals in the 70's and 80's so I was exposed to motorsport from a very early age. I started racing Mini's at 14 and that was that I was hooked.

BS: You're behind the wheel of your Megane Coupe. What is your dream racing car?
A. W-D.: Mercedes DTM (any of them).

BS: What is your dream motorsport event you want to take part in?
A. W-D.: Le Mans 24 hr.

BS: Hard braking now – are there any other sport disciplines you're familiar with?
A. W-D.: Quite a few, motor cross, water skiing, hot air ballooning and rally cross are some I have done over the years.

BS: Racing is on weekends – what are you doing weekdays?
A. W-D.: Running my marine engineering company.

BS: Who are your motorsport and non-motorsport heroes?
A. W-D.: Barry Lee and my Dad.

BS: What are your expectations for 2013?
A. W-D.: To have fun racing.

BS: Very tricky corner now – imagine there are no cars in the world, what would you do?
A. W-D.: Ride my Fireblade!

BS: And finish line – it's time for a drink. What's your favorite one?
A. W-D.: Lager.

BS: Thanks and good luck.
