Jon Wild, Rover Metro driver in Cannons TinTops Championship, class T4, age 40 - for a bit longer.

BARC SEC: OK green flags – lets go: how did your adventure with motorsport get started?
Jon Wild: Invited on a track day with Harry Lindfield. Later met Ken Angel after he recovered what was left of my first race car when I had a coming together with a tyre wall at Goodwood.

BS: You're behind the wheel of your Rover Metro. What is your dream racing car?
J.W.: MK1 Escort Mexico.

BS: What is your dream motorsport event you want to take part in?
J.W.: Quite happy with what I am doing.

BS: Hard braking now – are there any other sport disciplines you're familiar with?
J.W.: Running from the wife.

BS: Racing is on weekends – what are you doing weekdays?
J.W.: Repairing cars during the day, delivering Chinese meals in the evening.

BS: Who are your motorsport and non-motorsport heroes?
J.W.: Roger Clark.

BS: What are your expectations for 2013?
J.W.: Get my new business up and running.

BS: Very tricky corner now – imagine there are no cars in the world, what would you do?
J.W.: Tune up a lawn mower.

BS: And finish line – it's time for a drink. What's your favorite one?
J.W.: Anything with alcohol in it.

BS: Thanks and good luck.
