BARC SEC: OK green flags – lets go: how did your adventure with motorsport get started?
Graham Richardson: Always been interested in cars father had a car hire business so in the garage as a kid, drove my dad's Hillman minx to Margate at 14 yrs it was legal then! Sort of... I built a Westfield in 1994 and Sprinted and hillclimbed it for about 7yrs ACSMC overall 1999. Raced a Ultima one season, then a Radical for two seasons. Then brought the Nova as a Ex rallycross car convert to racing and started doing the TRC the forerunner of QMN championship ever since.

BS: You're behind the wheel of your Vauxhall Nova. What is your dream racing car?
G.R.: Any Group C sports car or Mk1 Lotus Cortina.

BS: What is your dream motorsport event you want to take part in?
G.R.: Goodwood or The Gum Ball rally.

BS: Hard braking now – are there any other sport disciplines you're familiar with?
G.R.: Shotokan Karate-do, Skiing.

BS: Racing is on weekends – what are you doing weekdays?
G.R.: Day time: I work for a medical electronics company as a Engineer. Evenings: JKA Karate Instructor -

BS: Who are your motorsport and non-motorsport heroes?
G.R.: Keinosuke Enoeda Sensei, Ernest Shackleton, Steve McQueen, John Wayne, Mohammed Ali, Stephen Hawking

BS: What are your expectations for 2013?
G.R.: Do well in QMN get the cars reliability better.

BS: Very tricky corner now – imagine there are no cars in the world, what would you do?
G.R.: Race boats or bikes.

BS: And finish line – it's time for a drink. What's your favorite one?
G.R.: Wine, red or white.
