BARC SEC: Ok green flags – lets go: how did your adventure with motorsport get started?
Ricky Davies: Always been into racing/Karting from a young age, but really its down to my Uncle Craig - a few years ago he got back into racing after quite a few years out and it got me really hooked.

BS: You're behind the wheel of your BMW E46 M3. What is your dream racing car?
R. D.: Audi R18 LMP or current BTCC NGTC.

BS: What is your dream motorsport event you want to take part in?
R. D.: Le Mans 24 Hour or a round in the BTCC.

BS: Hard braking now – are there any other sport disciplines you're familiar with?
R. D.: No! It's motor racing all the way...

BS: Racing is on weekends – what are you doing weekdays?
R. D.: Operations Manager for Sub-Zero & Wolf (the worlds finest cooling and cooking appliances).

BS: Who are your motorsport and non-motorsport heroes?
R. D.: Schumacher, Colin McRae, Vettel and non motorsport has to be all the chaps in our Armed Forces.

BS: What are your expectations for 2013?
R. D.: To have a reliable, fun year.

BS: Very tricky corner now – imagine there are no cars in the world, what would you do?
R. D.: Invent the car.

BS: And finish line – it's time for a drink. What's your favorite one?
R. D.: Jack D and Coke – you buying?
