BARC SEC: OK green flags – lets go: how did your adventure with motorsport get started?
Dave Charlton: Rallying round the farm at 10 years old in a Ford Thames Van.

BS: You're behind the wheel of your VW Beetle. What is your dream racing car?
D.C.: Porsche 911 RSR.

BS: What is your dream motorsport event you want to take part in?
D.C.: Dakar Rally.

BS: Hard braking now – are there any other sport disciplines you're familiar with?
D.C.: Equestrian and Downhill Mountain Biking.

BS: Racing is on weekends – what are you doing weekdays?
D.C.: Having just sold my business I am hoping to spend more time doing motorsport and farming.

BS: Who are your motorsport and non-motorsport heroes?
D.C.: Roger Clark and My Father (for many reasons).

BS: What are your expectations for 2013?
D.C.: To be quicker! Than Dominic and Jon!

BS: Very tricky corner now – imagine there are no cars in the world, what would you do?
D.C.: Get the cart for the horse and race it.

BS: And finish line – it's time for a drink. What's your favorite one?
D.C.: Whiskey.
