One lap with...

Chris Brockhurst, Vauxhall Tigra driver in Quaife Intermarque Championship, class HR, age 30.

BARC SEC: Ok green flags – lets go: how did your adventure with motorsport get started?
Chris Brockhurst: My dad was always involved in some sort of motorsport so I've always been around racing and it's in the blood.

BS: You're behind the wheel of your Vauxhall Tigra. What is your dream racing car?
C.B.: Don't really have a dream car I just love driving or riding anything to its absolute limit.

BS: What is your dream motorsport event you want to take part in?
C.B.: Again there's so many to list, I would love to have a go at the hill climb at the festival of speed, a definite adrenalin rush inches away from the famous flint wall.

BS: Hard braking now – are there any other sport disciplines you're familiar with?
C.B.: Quad biking, try to get out on my quad as much as I can in between the racing and family life.

BS: Racing is on weekends – what are you doing weekdays?
C.B.: Working hard to play hard.

BS: Who are your motorsport and non-motorsport heroes?
C.B.: Can't say I have any heroes but have a lot of respect for anyone out on the track. And for all the boys out in Afghanistan you have to say there all our heroes.

BS: What are your expectations for 2013?
C.B.: To win the Quaife Intermarque Championship.

BS: Very tricky corner now – imagine there are no cars in the world, what would you do?
C.B.: Ride my Quad.

BS: And finish line – it's time for a drink. What's your favorite one?
C.B.: J D and Coke, Corona.

BS: Thanks and good luck.
